Blues History

WC Handy and Alan Lomax played enormous roles in the history of the blues. They documented what they saw and heard, and were responsible for starting the careers of many blues musicians.

The Mississippi Delta, Chicago, Texas and the UK also played very important roles in the development and history of the blues.
